Dhaka Division clinched the Walton 15th National Cricket League crown beating Khulna Division by 5 wickets on the 4th and final day of the four-day first class domestic cricket at Sheikh Kamal International Cricket Stadium in Cox's Bazar on Tuesday.
Dhaka Division confirmed the league title on the second day of the four-day affair securing bonus points with unassailable lead ahead of the 7th round match.
Dhaka Division resumed the 2nd innings Tuesday morning with overnight 96 for 1 and scored the match-winning 224 for 5 in 81.2 overs against Khulna Division.
Night watch batsman Rony Talukdar (45) scored 90 runs off 178 balls with 11 fours and two sixes while another night watch batsman Taiabur Parvez (32) added another 7 runs to complete his innings at 39 runs.
Abdul Majid and Nurul Hasan made not out on 34 and 7 runs respectively.
Mithun Ali, Nahidul Islam, Nizamuddin Ripon and Abdur Razzak took one wicket each for 12, 23, 38 and 65 runs respectively.
Nurul Hasan of Dhaka Division, who scored 101 runs in the first innings, was adjudged man of the match.
