Man killed in petrol bomb attack on truck in Sirajganj

Sirajganj, Jan 7 (UNB) - A man was killed and three people sustained burn injuries as pickets allegedly set alight a truck on Dhaka-Bogra highway at Horgati in Salanga upazila during the opposition’s hartal on Tuesday evening.
The deceased could not be identified yet.
Superintendent of Police Imran Hossain of Sirajganj said the hartal supporters torched the Dhaka-bound potato-laden truck at Horgati near Bangabandhu Bridge around 8:15 pm by hurling a petrol bomb.
The unidentified man was burnt to death on the spot.
The injured were admitted to Sirajganj Sadar Hospital.
