Walton CZ trail by 341 runs against BCB NZ

The defending champions and also the table topper of the 2nd edition of Bangladesh Cricket League (BCL), Walton Central Zone trailed by 341 runs against BCB North Zone at stumps on the 2nd day of a four-day match at the BKSP ground-3 in Savar on Sunday.
BCB North Zone opened the first innings with overnight 287 and scored 457 for all in 149.2 overs.
Night watch batsman Tanvir Haider (1) scored 66 runs off 187 balls with six boundaries while Forhad Reza added 49 runs.
Mahmudullah claimed 3 wickets for 127 runs while Elias Sunny (4 for 111 in first innings) took two wickets for 54 runs on the 2nd day.
In reply, Walton Central Zone opened the first innings and scored 116 for 3 in 30.5 overs at the end of the day. One down Shamsur Rahman was batting with 35 runs and Asif Ahmed added 33 runs.
Taijul Islam captured 2 wickets for 25 runs while Forhad Reza took 1 wicket for 9 runs.

Prime Bank SZ resumed the first innings with overnight 108 runs and scored 376 runs for all in 90.3 overs.
Number four batsman Mithun scored 77 runs off 94 balls with 8 fours and 3 sixes. Night watch batsman Soumya Sarker (6) scored 71 runs off 144 balls with six fours and four sixes. Number nine batsman Shohag Gazi added 64 runs off 55 balls with five fours and four sixes.
Enamul Haque Jr (5 for 126 in first innings) captured four wickets for 81 runs while Mosaddek Hossain took three wickets for 65 runs and Mominul Haque took two for 43 runs on the 2nd day.
In reply, Islami Bank East Zone (135 runs in first innings) opened the 2nd innings and scored 138 for 1 in 40 overs.
Shadman Islam batting on 56 runs and Liton Kumar batting on 47 runs at stumps on the day.
Shohag Gazi took the day's only wicket for 41 runs.
