Dhaka Division North trail by 98 runs against Rajshahi Division

Dhaka Division North trailed by 98 runs against Rajshahi Division on the 2nd day of a three-day match of Young Tigers U-18 National Cricket Competition at Cricket Garden Rangpur on Thursday.
On the day, Rajshahi Division resumed the first innings with overnight 112 for 2 in 36 overs and scored 343 runs for 8 in 90 overs.
Night watch batsman Nazmul Hossain (48) made a century scoring 171 runs off 185 balls with 23 fours and 2 sixes.
Another night watch batsman Faysal Hossain (33) scored 77 runs while Shovon Das added 30 runs.
Mehedi Hasan Jr (3 for 49 in first innings) and Joy Chakrabarty took two wickets each for 14 and 36 runs respectively while Saiful Islam (2 for 17 in girst innings) took 1 wicket for 2 runs on the 2nd day, Thursday.
Dhaka Division North opened the 2nd innings and scored 119 for 3 in 41 overs at stumps on the day.
Munim Shahriar and Ryan Morshed were batting on 79 and 0 runs respectively.
Najmul Hossain, Istakul Islam and Shakil Hossain took 1 wicket each for 13, 29 and 30 runs respectively.
Rajshahi Division vs Dhaka Division North

In the other matches, at stumps on the second day, Dhaka Metro took 171 runs lead against Khulna Division at Barisal Divisional Stadium; Chittagong Division took 166 runs lead against Sylhet Division at Sheikh Jamal Stadium in Faridpur; and Dhaka Division South trailed by 203 runs against BKSP at Dinajpur Stadium.
Dhaka Mtero vs Khulna Division
On the second day (Thursday) Khulna Division resumed the first innings with overnight 35 for 1 in 15 overs and scored 115 for all 56.5 in overs.
In reply, Dhaka Metro (199 runs in first innings) opened their 2nd innings and scored 87 runs for 5 in 47 overs.
Rabbi Hasan and Tonmoy Hasan were batting on 15 and 1 runs respectively.

Sylhet Division resumed the first innings with overnight 36 runs for 5 in 31 overs and was dismissed cheaply 95 runs in 63 overs.
Chittagong Division (137 runs in the first innings) opened the 2nd innings and scored 124 for 3 in 53 overs at the end of the day.
Tanzid Ahmed Emon and Alauddin were batting on 50 and 33 runs respectively.

Dhaka Division South (112 runs in the first innings) opened the 2nd innings and scored 44 runs for 6 in 35 overs at stumps on the second day.
Khaled Hossain and Md Sajid were batting on 8 and 6 runs respectively.
