No sex attacks in Bangalore: Police

The police commissioner of the southern Indian city of Bangalore has said there is no evidence to prove allegations of mass molestation took place on New Year's Eve in the centre of the city.
Praveen Sood told the BBC that police officers had reviewed footage from almost 70 CCTV cameras.

Ex-Kosovo PM faces French court

A former Kosovo prime minister is facing possible extradition to Serbia to face war crimes charges after being arrested at a French airport.
Ramush Haradinaj is scheduled to appear Thursday in a court in Colmar in eastern France. The court will decide whether to keep him in custody during extradition proceedings or release him under judicial supervision, according to court official Marie-Helene Calvano.
Calvano said that at an unspecified later date, the court would decide on whether to approve extradition.

Thousands stranded in Malaysia floods

Thousands of people remained stranded in relief centres Thursday as northeast Malaysia struggled to recover from severe flooding and residents raised fears of looting.
But the number of people displaced in the states of Kelantan and Terengganu fell to about 18,300 from almost 23,000 Wednesday.
Seasonal flooding hits Malaysia's east coast states every year and regularly results in mass evacuations.
In badly hit Rantau Panjang, a Kelantan town bordering Thailand, more than 300 residents sought shelter at a crowded relief centre.
Two held on threats to Israeli judges

Police in Israel have arrested two people accused of inciting violence against judges who convicted a young soldier of manslaughter for shooting dead a wounded Palestinian attacker.
The military court's decision to convict Sgt Elor Azaria on Wednesday has sharply divided opinion, with some threatening the judges online.
The three judges who ruled on the case have been given a security detail.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has backed calls for a pardon for Azaria.
