Unified Floor teams leave for Special Olympics

A 38-member Special Olympics Bangladesh Unified Floor Hockey teams (Male & Female) will participate in the World Games where near about 3000 athletes from 117 countries will participate in 09 sports discipline.
This year Special Olympics Winter World Games 2017 will be held in Austria from March 17 to March 24.
Dr. Mohammad Hafizur Rahman and Mrs. ShalinaParveen has been nominated as Head of the Delegation and Assistant Head of the Delegation of the Special Olympics (SO). In total there are 28 players and 08 coaches in SO Bangladesh Teams.
Bangladesh SO team for the last 3 months, both male & female unified floor hockey teams were at BKSP for the training.
SO Bangladesh Unified Floor Hockey Teams left for Austria by Turkish Airlines flight on Wednesday..
Special Olympics Bangladesh Unified Floor Hockey Men's Team participated in this last Winter World Games which was held in Korea in 2013 and emerged as Champion beating Canada in the final.
The following are the names of the other Bangladesh SO team: M Ripon Mia, Mohammad Shahin Mohammad, Junaet Islam, M Razib Sardar, Shariful Islam, M Akash, M Sagor Ahmed, Mehedi Hasan, Murad Sarowar, Morsad Sawon, Mohammad Khalilur Rahman, Ratul Ahmed, Onik Mohammad, Azijul Islam, Mohammad Ashikuzzaman, Mohammad Ashikur Raman, Mohammad Rokybul Hasan, Chadni Khatun, Shopna Khatun, Ruma Sadia Khatun, Setu Sadia, Akhter Urmi Choity, Akter Erin Zaman, Mosammat Sumita Laboni, Aktar Tanzila Khatun Disha Sultana Ivy Aktar Orin, Ruma Khanom, Tamanna Akter, M Zahid Hossain Razu, Shameem Ahmed Shohel, Rana Mobarak Hossain, Sayed Abdul Muhit, M Abdus Salim, Tahmina Parvin, Mosammat Farida Yeasmine, Shalina Parveen, Mohammad Hafizur Rahman.
