BKSP beat Sylhet Div by innings & 35 runs

BKSP defeated Sylhet Division by an innings and 35 runs on the final day of a two-day match of the U-16 National Cricket Tournament at Cox's Bazar ground-2 on Tuesday.
On the day, Sylhet Division resumed their first innings with overnight 16 runs for 3 in 16 overs and was dismissed for 72 runs in 45.5 overs.
Night watch batsman Nawshad Akbar scored the team highest 43 runs to be the only double digit scorer for Sylhet Division.
Mezbaur Rahman captured 4 wickets for 16 runs while Nazmul Huda took 3 wickets for 16 runs.
Forced to follow on, Sylhet Division opened the second innings and was again dismissed cheaply for 98 runs in 48.3 overs.
Opener Hussain Ahamed scored the team highest 35 runs while Albabur Rahman added unbeaten 34 runs.
Aminul Islam captured 4 wickets for 11 runs while Nazmul Huda claimed 3 wickets for 18 runs and Mezbaur Rahman took 2 wickets for 31 runs.
Jubair Ahmed of BKSP scored 51 runs in the first innings and was adjudged man-of-the-match.

BKSP first innings: 205 for all in 79.3 overs; Jubair Ahmed 51, Mujibul Hossain 29, Riazul Islam 25, Rahat Sarkar not out 23, Akbar Ali 21, AKM Sadik 4/68, Ariful Hasan 2/ 53.
Sylhet Division First innings: 72 for all in 45.5 overs (overnight 16 for 3 in 15 overs); Nawshad Akber 43, Mezbaur Rahman 4/16, Nazmul Huda 3/19.
Sylhet Division second innings: 98 for all in 48.3 overs; Hussain Ahamed 35, Albabur Rahaman 34, Aminul Islam 4/11, Nazmul Huda 3/18, Mezbaur Rahman 2/31.
Dhaka Metro vs Barisal Division
In another match at Sheikh Kamal International Cricket Stadium in Cox's Bazar, Dhaka Metropolis also won by an innings and 1 runs against Barisal Division.
On Tuesday, Dhaka Metro resumed the first innings with overnight 104 for 6 in 59 overs and declared at 134 for 8 in 70 overs.
Raihan Ifti (34), Fahim (22), Mahidul Sagar (21) and Nazir Mohammad (14) were the notable scorers for Dhaka Metro.
AKM Safiqul Islam took 3 wickets for 31 runs while Sardar Md Yasin took 2 wickets for 26 runs.
In reply, Barisal Division opened the second innings and was dismissed cheaply for 73 runs in 31.5 overs.
Opener Mahadi Hasan (23), skipper Saiful Alom Mehedi (15), Aslam Ridoy (15) and Julkarnain (not out 13) were the notable scorers for Barisal Div.  Shahriar Islam claimed 6 wickets for 27 runs in 10.5 overs to be adjudged man-of-the-match. Nahid Hasan took 2 wickets for 22 runs.
