Pakistan pile up mammoth 338 for four wickets

Pakistan piled up a mammoth total of 338 for the loss of four wickets in the allotted 50 overs against India in the final match of the ICC Champions Trophy at the Oval in London on Sunday.
Pakistan made an auspicious start as Azhar Ali and Fakhar Zaman, the two openers put on together 128 runs for the opening stand before Azhar Ali was run out by a joint-effort of Jasprit Bumrah and MS Dhani.
After departure of Azhar Ali, Fakhar Zaman and Babar Azam produced together 72 runs for the second wicket stand before Fakhar Zaman was caught by Ravindra Jadeja off Hardik Pandya when Pakistan's total was 200 for the loss of two wickets.
Fakhar Zaman cracked a terrific 114. His 106-ball innings was studded with 12 fours and three sixers. It was Fakhar Zaman's maiden ODI century.
Azhar Ali notched up a fine 59. His 71-ball knock was laced with six fours and a sixer. It was Azhar Ali's 12th ODI half century.
After dismissal of Fakhar Zaman, Babar Azam and Shoaib Malik contributed 47 runs for the third wicket partnership before Shoaib Malik (12) was caught at the cover by Kedar Jadhab off Bhuvneshwar Kumar when Pakistan's total was 247 for the loss of three wickets.
Then Babar Azam could stay at the crease for a short period as he was caught at the long-off by Yuvraj Singh off Kedar Jadhab when Pakistan's score was 267 for the loss of four wickets.
After dismissal of Babar Azam, Mohammad Hafeez and Imad Wasim added together 71 runs for the unbroken fifth wicket stand before Pakistan's innings came to an end.
Mohammad Hafeez remained unbeaten with 57. His 37-ball splendid innings was ornamented with three huge sixes and four fours. It was Hafeez's 32nd ODI half century.
Babar Azam made 46 from 52 balls featuring four fours.
Imad Wasim remained unbeaten with 25. He hit one four and one six in his 21-ball knock.
Kedar Jadhab, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Hardik Pandya took one wicket each for 27, 44 and 53 runs respectively.
