One killed over land dispute in Hizla

One Salahuddin Bepari, 35, succumbed to his injuries at Barisal Sher E Bangla Medical College Hospital on Sunday after injured in a clash over land dispute recently. Salahuddin was son of Yunus Ali Bepari from Pattonivanga under Guabaria union of Hizala upazila of Barisal district. Sub Inspector Farid Hossain of Barisal Kotwali police station , said he collecting circumstantial evidences asked the hospital authourity to sent the dead body to morgue for postmortem.  Abul Kalam, ward master of SBMCH, said the dead body sent to hospital morgue for autopsy. Family sources said Abu Taleb; son of Sultan Bepari of the area was beaten by Mobarak Ali Bepari, Harun Mali, Sabuj Mali and others on Wednesday over a land dispute. Over this issue both rival groups engaged in clash and at least eight people from both sides became injured and admitted at different hospitals. Among the injured Khadiza and Abu Taleb sent to Dhaka for better treatment and Salahuddin admitted at ICU of SBMCH.

Sotota o Somprityr Pothe Amra" ( We are on the way of honesty and amity ) with  this slogan Gafargaon -85 Social Organisation has been formed about 12 years ago.  Gafargaon -85 social Organisation is basically friendly ,non-political  organisation.  To increase humanity , well-fare activities  to stretch the hands of the distressed , ailment of friend  Gafargaon -85 'Social Organisation has been formed .  In the meantime this  organisation has been working for the distressed , early marriage , handicapped ,enabled flood-hit people.  Eid Re-union was held on  September 3,2017 at Gafargaon Adorsho Shishu Niketon (Kg) . Later , a discussion meeting was held. and  a new Executive Committee has been formed . An election has been held for 4 posts such as  President , General Secretary, Organising Secretary and Treasurer.  Businessman , social worker Md.Abdul Hamid Bachhu and Arshad Ahmed Asad have  been elected as  President and General Saecretary respectively , Mukhlesur Rahman Manik , Babu Anil Roy have been elected Organizing secretary and Treasurer respectively. Total 17 members executive committee have been announced . Md Abdul Hamid Bachhu -president, Md.Mahiuddin Khan Manik vice-president , SM Wahiduzzaman -vice president, Arshad Ahmed Asad -General Secretary, Md.Majharul Islam Ejaj - Joint secretary, Md. Mukhlesur Rahman Manik - organizing secretary,  Babu Anil Roy -Treasurer , Md.Golam Mostofa  Joint- treasurer, Md.Jalal Uddin -Publicity secretary ,  Mir Jahangir Hossain -Sports secretary, Dr.Rafiqul Islam Dhali  - Education and cultural secretary, Md.Ajijur Rahman - Portfolio secretary ,  And Honourable Members are 1. Masud Pervez Yusuf, 2.  Dhali Zubaier Shams 3. Mujammel Hoque Babul ,4. Musharaf Hossain 5. Ashraful Alam Shahid . Later, They have been introduced among others and Doua was conducted  for the parents of friends who died for their departed soul and wished for  Gafargaon -85' Social Organisation.
Teenage girl commits suicide in Chandpur
CHANDPUR: A teenage girl committed suicide by hanging herself from the ceiling in her room at Shahebganj village in Faridganj upazila on Sunday afternoon. The deceased was identified as Sonia Akter, 16, daughter of Md Abul Kalam of the village.  Md Mobarak Hossain, sub inspector of Faridganj Police Station told UNB that on information, police rushed to the spot and recovered the hanging body of Sonia Akter around 7 pm and sent it to Chandpur General Hospital morgue for autopsy. Sonia might have committed suicide in a huff with her mother, SI added.  An unnatural death case was filed with the police station in this connection, reports UNB..
