Bangladesh women's Under-16 team's head coach Choton said his girls would give their best effort in the second match against Japan and would fight till the end, according to a message received here from Bangladesh Football Federation on Tuesday.
He was talking to the newsmen on Tuesday at the team's training session at the Institute of Physical Education Chonburi Campus Stadium, Chonburi where the second match will take place on Thursday (September 14).
"Our next match is with Japan. They are also very strong team. Our players will try to give their best effort in the second match ......now all the players understand the standard of world level football. This tournament will help us for the development of our women football. All players are physically well they are ready to fight for the next match, said Choton.
The head coach said "DPR Korea is very strong team. They are the world championship team at all age level. Some of our players could not play to their true potential in the first match and our goalkeeper also made some mistake otherwise the result could have been different, I mean we would have conceded less than four or five goals."
The girls in red and green had their hour long training session on Tuesday morning at the match venue.
Earlier, on Monday, Bangladesh began their tournament campaign on a dismal note with a massive drubbing 0-9 goal defeat to DPR Korea in their group opening match.
