Natundhara Bangladesh
A discussion organised by Natundhara Bangladesh (NDB) was held at its office in the city's Topkhana Road on Tuesday. In the programme the speakers warned to forge greater movement if the price of electricity is increased further. In the function some leaders and activists of Islami Andolon joined NDB. The discussion was addressed, among others, by Chairman of the organisation Momin Mehedi, its Senior Vice-Chairman Principal Shanta Farzana, Presidium Member Ahmedul Kabir Khan Kiron,  Vice-Chairman Farhadul Islam Kamal, its Dhaka Mahanagar South unit President Mahmud Hasan Taher, its General Secretary Ibrahim Khalil Prodhan and former leader of Islami Andolon, Dhaka Mahanagar Maulana Shahidul Alam Kabir. Presidium Member of Natundhara Bangladesh Lion Dr Abul Kashem Bhuiyan presided over the event.
Bangladesh Brand Forum
Bangladesh Brand Forum (BBF) will honour best digital campaigns of the country through first ever Digital Marketing Award in Digital Marketing Summit to be held on October 14. In total 281 nominations have been received from 20 digital agencies of the country. Through rigorous jury sessions, the awards will be handed over to the winners in 13 categories, said a media release on Monday. BBF has been bringing global and local digital marketing experts on the same platform to share knowledge through Digital Marketing Summit since 2014. The theme for this year's summit is "Strategy into Action". Presented by Meghna Group of Industries, this year's Digital Marketing Summit and Awards are powered by Wizards Ad Network, in association with The Daily Star. The daylong summit will be followed by award gala in the evening at Le Meridien. This year, the summit will consist of keynote sessions from five Global Experts-- Zaved Akhter, Director of Marketing Transformation at Unilever, South Asia, Farhan Qureshi, Head of South Asian Frontier Markets at Google, Sanjay Vaghasia, chief digital officer at Banglalink Digital Communications Ltd, Dan Clarke, CEO and founder of disruptient, Dr Harshit Jain, senior Vice-President and country Manager of McCann Health India and marketing Director for McCann Health Asia Pacific.
