Bangladesh made 255 runs playing 48.1 overs in their innings against Cricket South Africa Invitation XI in the one-day warm-up match at Bloemfontein in South Africa on Thursday.
Bangladesh had a disastrous start as they lost their two wickets for 31 runs.
Opener Soumya Sarkar (3) was caught by MP Siboto off R Frylink when Bangladesh's score was 31 for the loss of one wicket.
Then Imrul Kayes, the other opener could stay at the crease for a short period as he (27) was caught behind by wicketkeeper H Klaasen off Frylink.
One-down Liton Das (8) was caught behind by wicketkeeper Klaasen off Siboto when Bangladesh's score was 61 for the loss off three wickets.
Second-down Mushfiqur Rahim (22) was caught by Zondo off AM Phangiso when the team's total was 63 for the loss of four wickets.
After dismissal of Mushfiqur Rahim, third-down Shakib Al Hasan and Mahmudullah Riyad contributed together 57 runs for the fifth wicket partnership before Riyad (21) was trapped leg before wicket by PWA Mulder when the Tigers' score was 120 for the loss of five wickets.
Shakib Al Hasan notched up a marvelous 68. His 67-ball innings was decorated with nine fours.
After Riyad's dismissal, Shakib and Sabbir Rahman built another remarkable partnership. They put on together 76 runs for the six-wicket stand before Shakib was caught by JP Duminy off Phangiso when the visitors' total was 196 for the loss of six wickets.
Then Sabbir was caught behind by Klaasen off M Budaza when the team's score was 219 for the loss of seven wickets.
Sabbir hit a superb 52. His 54-ball knock was studded with three sixers and two fours.
Six-down Nasir Hossain (12) was caught behind by wicketkeeper Klaasen off Budaza when Bangladesh's total was 226 for the loss of eight wickets.
Numner-10 batsman Mashrafe Bin Mortaza (17) was caught by Phangiso off Siboto when the tourists' score was 253 for the loss of nine wickets.
Mustafizur Rahman (0), the Number-11 batsman of Bangladesh was bowled out by BE Hendricks and Bangladesh's innings came to an end.
Frylink, Budaza, Phangiso and Siboto bagged a pair of wickets each for 25, 41, 46 and 49 runs respectively.
Mulder and Hendricks took one wicket each conceding 25 and 40 runs respectively.
