A school girl was killed after rape by miscreants in Siddhrganj of Narayanganj and two other girls were gang raped in Jhenaidah and Jamalpur districts recently. Separate cases were filed in the respective police stations.
A schoolgirl at Siddirganj was abducted and killed after rape. Police arrested Raihan Kabir Sohag, 28, in this connection from Bandar area on Sunday. During integration, Sohag gave a confessional statement of abduction, rape and murder.
This information came out in a press conference at Siddhrganj Police Station on Monday. District Additional Police (ircle-A)Md Sarfuddin, Officer-in-Charge (OC) Abdus Sattar Mian and Inpector (Investigation) Nazrul Islam were present.  
According to Police sources, on January 23 Roksana, a third-grade student from Arambagh area in Godaniail in Suddhiriganj, was nabbed. In this incident, her father Ashraful Islam logged a general diary (GD) with Siddirganj Police Station on January 24.
Later on 26 January, Sonargaon police recovered a body of a child wrapped in plastic sack from Kaikertek Bridge area. The mouth of the dead was wrapped with scothtape and legs, hands were tighten with rope. Police recovered the body and sent it to Narayanganj General Hospital morgue.
On January 27, Ashraful Alam filed a case with Siddhiriganj Police Station against unidentified persons.
Sources said that during the investigation, the Raihan Karbi Sohag was arrested using secret information and technology within 24 hours.
Jamalpur Correspondent adds: A SSC examinee was raped by Sabbir Hossain Setu, 23, leader of  the Jamalpur Jubo League, while she was returning from a Waz Mahfil at Kendua Union of Jamalpur Sadar on January 26.
In this incident, the girl's mother filed a case on 28 January at Jamalpur Sadar Police Station against Sabbir Hossain Setu who is a Jubo League leader of Kendua Union Ward No 3 and four other of his allies.
However, the police still could not arrest him. Jubo League General Secretary Farhan Ahmad said, " Sabbir Hossain Setu has violated the rule of the organization as he became affiliated with torturing women. As a result, the image of the organization has been downsized.
Therefore, he has been suspended from the Jubo League temporarily and noticed to show cause why he will not be permanently suspended from the party within seven days.
The rape victim is under treatment at Jamalpur Sadar General Hospital.
Our Jhenaidah Correspondent adds: The terrorists have raped a poor school girl after abduction from her home at Binni village of Harinakundu upazila of Jhenaidah last night.
The victim schoolgirl is student of class ten of Dari Binni High School. On Monday, the medical examination of the schoolgirl was conducted in Jhenidah Sadar Hospital.
Earlier on Wednesday, breaking the doors of the house, the victim was abducted and gang raped by Nabichadi's son Milton, Jhantu's son Mintu, Anisur Rahman's son Selim and Imrul's son Rajan of the same village.
A case has been filed in this connection with Harinakundu Police Station. No one has been arrested till now.
But the family of the victim is threatening to withdraw the case. The investigation is going on, said Asaduzzaman, investigation in-charge of the police station.
