City Bank American Express® Chittagong Open 2018 to begin March 21

The 2ndCity Bank American Express® Chittagong Open 2018, an International Golf Tournament, will be held at Bhatiary Golf & Country Club (BGCC), from 21st to 24th March, 2018. The tournament is jointly sanctioned by Professional Golf Tour India (PGTI) and Bangladesh Professional Golf Association (BPGA) and approved by Bangladesh Golf Federation (BGF). This is for the 2nd time that an International golf tournament is being organized at BGCC. There will be a total of 126 professional golfers from home and abroad participating in this tournament. The total prize money for the tournament is BDT 50 lac.
The title sponsor of the tournament is City Bank American Express® whereas it is co-sponsored by KY Steel and BSRM. The Official Airlines Carrier is Regent Airways. The other partners of the tournament are Ispahani, Pran, The Avenue Hotel & Suites. The Broadcast partner of the tournament is SONY Ten Golf.
The title sponsorship of the tournament was declared at a press conference recently which was attended by Sohail R. K. Hussain, Managing Director and CEO, City Bank; Mashrur Arefin, Additional Managing Director, City Bank; Asif Ibrahim, President, BPGA; Rizwan Bin Farouq, Chairman, Riz Events and Major Emdadul Islam (Retd), Chairman Media Committee, BGCC; Hanif Zakaria, Chief Commercial Officer, Regent Airways; Mr. Abul Hasnat, Lead Branding & Market Outreach, BSRM.
