If I get role like Tuni I will act in film: Shoshee

In 2005, Sharmin Zoha Shoshee acted her first movie Hazar Bochhor Dhorey got National Film Awards in five categories. Shoshee became popular among all and also came into limelight to play in role of Tuni in that movie. During that time everybody believed Shoshee would get the National Award for playing the role Tuni. But it did not happen that time. However, Shoshee did not unhappy for that reason because she is still remaining popular among the viewers for the role Tuni.
While talking in this regard Shoshee told this correspondent, “Hazar Bochhor Dhorey was released more than 12 years ago but viewers still remember me for that role Tuni. Still now when I visit any shooting place for work everybody ask me by that name. “If I get such a role like Tuni I want to work in big screen. Last 12 years I did not get offer to work in such type of role so viewers could not see me in any movie. Now I can recall the name of my first movie’s director Suchonda Madam. In fact, for her I could get the scope to work in that movie and I learned many things about acting from her,” Shoshe also said.
Meanwhile, after 'Hazar Bochhor Dhorey,' Shoshee also acted in Khizir Hayat Khan’s movie Astittey Aamar Desh. She played in role of Birjaya Mili Rahman in that film. She also started shooting of Shafiqul Islam Bhoirabi’s movie Shoachan Pakhi but it yet not finished due to death of its director. Therefore, Shoshe also acted against Apurba in Morshedul Islam’s movie Brishti’r Din. It was also stopped after starting its shooting for first three days. In last Eid, Shoshe was seen in Raju Khan’s English Teacher, Musafir Roni’s plays Opekkha and Ichchheypuron.
