Nayanthara's Kolamaavu Kokila is one of the awaited releases of this year. Nayanthara is playing a drug smuggler in the film. It was earlier slated to release on August 10 alongside Kamal Haasan's Vishwaroopam 2. However, the film's release has been pushed back to August 17 now.
Lyca Productions, who are bankrolling the project shared the news on their Twitter page and wrote, "#KolamaavuKokila Releases #August17th #Nayanthara @anirudhofficial @Nelson_director."
The songs and trailer of the film have generated a good buzzThe film has received some great buzz.The looks of Saranya, Yogi Babu and Jacqueline, who play pivotal roles in the film, have also impressed the fans.
Directed by Nelson, Kolamaavu Kokila is about a girl who tries to smuggle pure grade cocaine across border for money and receives help from her mother and sister. Yogi Babu plays the role of the man who tries to woo Kokila.
