Tech revolution in Bangladesh

Four out of ten people in Bangladesh could not enjoy the right of quality education in 2008. But with the help of technology by the end of July 2018, seven out of ten people are now getting the light of education. Not only in education, Bangladesh has also achieved many SDG goals so far. Technology has worked like wonders in this country. Tech revolution has played its part by helping the country to move towards sustainable growth. From a small village to a mega city like Dhaka, tech revolution has been an important resource of sustainability. Till now, the country has reached many milestones. But, there's still a plenty of work to do.
More recently, Ministry of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has become one of the most active ministries of the government.
Strategic innovations helped to reach every corner and that helped people to get the facilities of technological development even in the remote areas. Especially `Union Information Centers' provides non-stop services to the people. Recently, a2i (Access to Information) have established some big projects to ensure better service for grassroots.
They have developed `District Information Web Portal' for people to get services online. Recently, post offices have adapted the E-postal system. Money orders and postal cash services is one of the key features of this new adapted system. National help desk 999 is another example of these strategic innovations. You can simply call police stations; fire service or ambulance for any kind of help 24*7 and the service is absolutely free of cost.
Currently, there are about 13.5 million mobile users and 7 million Internet users. A large portion of them uses Internet through their phones. The people of Bangladesh have already started to get the results of initiatives that have been taking to develop the IT sector, which will definitely increase further in the future. Nowadays, the registration of admissions or educational institutions is done through the Internet and the results of the examination are also published online. Likewise, registration of jobs abroad, registration of Hajj, registration of various official or unofficial forms, submission of tax or income tax return, participation in tender or tender etc. can be done online. Nowadays, treatments are also done through video conferencing. Even Prime Minister inaugurates many projects through video conference. Up to now, Revolutions like E-Governance and E-Service is providing better service 24/7 at their doorstep.
Tech revolution can reshape the fate of Bangladesh in many sectors like Economy, Health, and Education etc. Developing countries like Bangladesh should realize that many technological aspects could be established for better development.
As challenges persist, there will be a continuing need for innovative solutions to problems and new technology aspects to transform the lives of the people of Bangladesh.
