New DCs for 19 districts

The government has appointed new Deputy Commissioners to 19 districts, including Rajshahi, Rangpur and Mymensingh, as part of bringing better performance in the field level civil administration.
The Ministry of Public Administration on Tuesday issued a circular in this regard. The decision will be effective immediately.
The other districts are Gazipur, Nilphamari, Faridpur, Pabna, Gopalganj, Narayanganj, Munshiganj, Sirajganj, Bagerhat, Jashore, Moulovibazar, Rajbari, Nogaon, Lalmonirhat, Jhalakhati and Borguna.
