Rupali Bank KP finish runner up in Premier Div Women's Cricket

Rupali Bank Krira Parishad finished runner up in the 12-team Dhaka Premier Division Women's Cricket League beating Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Pratishthan (BKSP) by 164 runs in the last league encounter at BKSP ground-4 on Saturday.
Earlier, Mohammedan Sporting Club clinched the league title on Friday beating third place finisher Abahani Ltd by 10 runs in their last encounter.
Mohammedan SC earned 20 points from 10 matches while Rupali Bank KP bagged 16 points and Abahani cashed 14 points from as many matches.
AV Sporting Club and BKSP finished fourth and fifth respectively bagging 12 and 8 points.
In the day's rain-interrupted match, sent in to bat first Rupali Bank KP scored a fighting total of 206 runs for 6 in revised 47 overs, spurred by Lata Mondol's 91 runs off 116 balls involving 11 fours.
On the way to piling up her individual score, Lata pairing with Sandamali Kumuduni contributed 91 runs in 19.3 overs in the fourth wicket stand.
The fourth wicket pair carried the team total from 80 for 3 in 23.1 overs to 171 for 4 in 42.4 overs.
Sandamali scored 37 runs off 59 balls with four boundaries while opener Shamima Sultana (18), Farzana Haque (16), Jesia Akter (15) and skipper Sathria Jakir (14) were the other double digit contributors for the side.
Jannatul Ferdous grabbed four wickets for 44 runs in 9 overs while Aka Mollik and Nahida Akter took one wicket each for 15 and 24 runs respectively in 2 and 9 overs.
Chasing a target of 207 runs, BKSP was bundled out cheaply 42 runs in 21.2 overs.
Zinnat Achia (20) and Morsheda Khatun Happy (12) were the double digit contributors for the side.
Lata Mondol who was adjudged player of the match, grabbed four wickets for economic 3 runs in 4.2 overs while Sandamali Kumuduni took two wickets for 4 runs in 3 overs.
Sabikun Naher Jasmin, Sathira Jakir and Pabitra Roy took one wicket for 3, 12 and 17 runs respectively in 3, 3 and 8 overs.
