Barisal Div score 289 runs against Rangpur Div

Barisal Division posted 289 runs against Rangpur Division on the first day of the four-day match (7th round) Walton 15th National Cricket League at Fatullah Outer Stadium on Saturday.
In the day's match, sent in to bat first, Barisal Division piled-up the score losing all wickets in 66 overs with Shohag Gazi scoring 87 runs off 67 balls including six fours and five sixes.
Kamrul Islam, Shahin Hossain and Nuruzzaman added 52, 45 and 41 runs respectively.
Sohrawardi Shuvo captured three wickets for 74 runs while Sajedul Islam, Tanvir Haider and Mahmudul Hasan took two wickets each conceding 22, 59 and 67 runs respectively.
In reply, Rangpur Division opened the first innings and scored 89 for 2 in 22 overs at the end of the day.
Nasir Hossain and Naeem Islam were in batting making 27 and 1 run respectively while opener Tarik Ahmed added 26 runs.
Monir Hossain and Shohag Gazi took one wicket each for 12 and 45 runs respectively.

In the days' other matches, Rajshahi Division took 13 runs lead against Dhaka Metropolis at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong while Dhaka Division trailed by 168 runs against Khulna Division at Sheikh Kamal International Cricket Stadium in Cox's Bazar and Sylhet Division trailed by 138 runs against Chittagong Division at BKSP ground-3,Savar.
Dhaka Metro vs Rajshahi Division
Brief Score: Dhaka Metro first innings - 126 for all in 37.1 overs; Marshal Ayub 30, Shohid 22, Delwar Hossain 5/41, Forhad Reza 2/19.
Rajshahi Division first innings - 139 for 7 in 44 overs; Sabbir Rumman 64, Sanjamul Islam batting 5, Muktar Ali batting- 0, Shohid 3/24. Abu Bakker Siddiq 2/8.
Khulna Division vs Dhaka Division
