DB's AC shot at by gunmen in city

A senior assistant commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police's Detective Branch suffered bullet wounds as miscreants opened fire during the law-enforcement agency's drive to recover illegal arms in Jurain.
Officer Rahul Patwary was admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital after the incident on Saturday evening, police said.
Patwary was hit by a bullet to the left side of his chest, said DMCH police camp Sub-Inspector Bachchu Mia.
Miscreants opened fire on a DB team that went to Jurain in the evening, DMP spokesperson Masudur Rahman told bdnews24.com.
