A discussion marking the 125th birth anniversary of Huseyn Shaheed Suhrawardy organised by Bangabandhu Sangskritik Jote was held at the Jatiya Press Club on Tuesday. Food Minister Advocate Qamrul Islam was present as the chief guest. While speaking Qamrul said BNP gave some conditions for joining the next parliament election, but none of the conditions would be fulfilled. "BNP gave some conditions, including resignation of the incumbent government and release of Khaleda Zia, to take part in the next election. But none of these conditions will be fulfilled. The election will be held in due time in accordance with the constitution," he added. The function was also addressed, among others, by former State Minister for Home Affairs Advocate Shamsul Haque Tuku, MP, Advocate Talukder Md Yunus, MP, BFUJ President Mollah Jalal, Secretary General Shaban Mahmood, AL leaders Advocate Balaram Poddar, Shah Alam and Arun Sarker Rana.
