2 killed, 2 others fatally injured in Bagerhat road mishap

2 motor cyclists were killed on the spot and 2 others (one co-rider of the motor cycle and a driver of a battery-run easy bike) were fatally injured when the 2 vehicles were dashed violently by a speeding passenger bus of “Dhansiri Paribahan” bound for Barishal on Bagerhat-Pirojpur Highway at Badamtala within Bemarta Union under Sadar Upazila in Bagerhat district on Sunday morning (at about 10 am). After recovering the 2 injured persons were at first rushed to Bagerhat Sadar Hospital where considering the gravity of their injuries the physicians on duty advised them (injured persons) to be admitted to Khulna Medical College Hospital for better treatment. The 2 killed persons are co-rider Mizan Jomaddar (35), son of one Mannan Jomaddar of village Sonatala under Sharankhloa Upazila in Bagerhat district and motor cyclist Rabbi Khan (25), son of one Faruk Khan of the same area.
It is learnt from SI Babul Aktar, Chief Coordinator of Bagerhat District Police Media Cell that the killer passenger bus of “Dhanshiri Paribahan”that was going from Khulna to Barishal in Sunday morning and when reached the place of occurrence at 10 am dashed the motor cycle from its behind (that was going to the same direction) violently and consequently.
