Rowshan Alam, Sirajganj :
Three members of a family were hacked to death and their throats cut in their own house in Barwari Battala Mohalla of Tarash Upazila under Sirajganj district.
The deceased were identified as Bikash Sarkar (45), his wife Swarna Rani Sarkar (40) and their daughter Parmita Sarkar Tushi (15), a class 10 student of Tarash Government Girls High School.
According to police and witnesses, the killers killed them in planned way secretly under locked them inside the flat.
When relatives informed the police that they could not find them for last two days and then the police broke the lock and found their bodies on the floor and on the bed around 3 o’clock on Monday.
Tarash Police Station’s Officer-in-Charge (Investigation) Md. Noore Alam said that the relatives of the deceased said that they tried to contact them over mobile phones after not being able to find them for the last two days.
After failing to reach them, the relatives visited the deceased house and found the flat under lock and key from outside. The relatives immediately informed the police.
Being informed, the police reached the spot and entered the house breaking the lock and recovered the bodies.
