40 people in Ishwardi injured by bee bites

About 40 people have been bitten by bees in Ishwardi. About 20-25 people got sick from bee bites and received treatment at the hospital. Three of them have been sent to Pabna Medical College Hospital for better treatment as their condition is critical. The incident took place on Saturday (December 30) afternoon at Mohammad Fakir intersection of Oronkola Bedundia in Ishwardi. Ishwardi Upazila Health Complex doctor Khandkar Shamsuddin Haider confirmed the information about bee bite injuries.
According to hospital sources, the persons who came to the Upazila Hospital for treatment after being bitten by bees are Santu Pramanik (55), Sirajul Islam (35), Noor Islam (24), Minarul (48), Sihab Fakir (39), Swapan (60), Samsujjoha (60), Sohail Fakir (38) and Nibir (12) and 20-25 others.
Doctor in charge of the hospital, Khandaker Shamsuddin Haider, said that about 20-25 people have been treated for bee bites. Among them, Santu Pramanik, Minarul Islam and Samsujjoman have been sent to Pabna Medical College Hospital as their condition is critical.
