The detectives in Kishoreganj in a drive arrested at least five muggers in Tarail, Mymensingh’s Nandail on Monday night, recovered two battery run autorickshaws, anesthetizing drugs and seized a motorcycle from their possessions.
Police Super (SP) in Kishoreganj Mohammad Rasel Sheikh PMM (Bar) said that, a team of detectives and arrested, five muggers named Shipon Miah (25), Jahangir (24), Sirajul (42), Angur Miah (28) and Shaheen (32). They snatching bettary run autorickshaw and autorickshaw driver Manun (24) injured, sick by anesthetizing medicines at latifabad in Kishoreganj Sadar on Monday night.
Police also seized a motorcycle, the muggers were using from their possessions.
SP Mohammad Rasel Sheikh PPM (Bar) was addressing on press briefing at his office conference room on Tuesday noon.
Additional SP Mustaque Sarker (Promoted SP), Noor-e Alam (Promoted SP), Al- Amin Hossain (Crime & Ops) and dignified police officials were also present.
