Six passenger flights bound for Dhaka have landed at Sylhet and Chattogram international airports as dense fog reduced visibility.
The Executive Director of Dhaka’s Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, Group Captain Mohammad Kamrul Islam, informed the media about the development on Tuesday (Jan 2).
He said that due to the fog, flights could not operate from 12:00pm on Monday (Jan 1) to 8:30am on Tuesday.
He said that flights from Chattogram and Sylhet started arriving in Dhaka after 9am.
