AL to announce poll manifesto today

Bangladesh Awami League (AL) will announce its election manifesto today (Wednesday) ahead of the 12th parliamentary polls slated for January 7, 2024.

AL President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will unveil the election manifesto at Pan Pacific Sonargaon hotel in the city at 10:30am, reports UNB.

Out of 44 registered political parties, a total of 27 parties including Awami League and Jatiya Party are running in the general election, which is being boycotted by another major party BNP.
