Rubaiyat Ahsan is Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Alliant Ltd. He is Joint-Secretary General of Bangladesh-Malaysia Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
He is also Member of Bangladesh-British Chamber of Commerce and Bangladesh-India Chamber of Commerce and Industries.
Rubaiyat Ahsan started his working life in advertisement business in 1991 and was started event management business in 1998.
He has participated number of exhibitions on event management services in the country and abroad.
The charismatic business leader has established Scale Printing and packaging, Wahid Metal Industries Ltd, W bootlick, Alliant Medicare and Light Box, a business house for doing several types of businesses.
Talking with The New Nation in a interview, Rubaiyat Ahsan said, Alliant Ltd is providing world standard event management services in Bangladesh since its inauguration in 2004.
He said it creates better business opportunities for businesses by connecting them with the others through quality event managements.
“It is one of the highest exhibition and event management company in the country providing better services in these regards within reasonable costing,” he said.
Alliant Ltd is promised to make effective connections between the businesses which come to it and the international market places, he explained.
“The world is changing fast and the changing atmospheres are pushing us towards new ways of sustain and growing up through endless competitions. We fully ready and decorated for helping our clients in the new trend of competitions and we have the dynamic ways to link the businesses towards others for further enhancement,” Rubaiyat Ahsan said.

As examples of the events which the Alliant Ltd has organised, Rubaiyat said they have successfully arranged ‘Internatiolan Plastic Packaging and Printing Idustry fair’ on February22 to February25 in 2023 in the International Convention City Bashundhara in Dhaka.
Entrepreneurs and all stakeholders of plastic, printing and packaging industries have got the event as their valuable sourcing platform, he described.
The event management company also organised ‘Total solution fair of textile and garment industries’ on February15 to February18, 2023 in the same venue.
This event also was successfully completed.
Besides, Bangladesh Textiles Mills Associations (BTMA) and Yorkers Trade and Marketing Service Co, Ltd jointly organised Dhaka International Textile and Garments Machinery exhibitions (DTG) as the largest trade fare so far which exhibition also arranged by the Alliant Ltd. More than 1200 booths in 18 halls were decorated for exhibiting machineries, equipments and such other related things and iformations of textiles and garment industries in the largest ever event.
Apart from these, the Alliant Ltd also organised international pharma exhibitions on total pharmaceuticals producing techonologists in March 2 to March 4 in 2023 in Dhaka’s Bashundhara International Convention City. It also orgainsed the same fair on the pharmaceuticals industries in 2021 as a largest ever exhibition which brought huge exporting opportunities for Bangladeshi pharmaceuticals industries as it has the base of exporting capabilities among the 23 LDC countries participated in the fair.
Replying to a query over the carrier opportunity in the event management, Rubaiyat Ahsan said it has vast potentials as the era is evolving with such trend now.
He said the tasks of event management are not so hard but the people want to be a part of it has the enthusiasm of doing it.
Responding another query, he said, earning money through event manager and its workers called event management business.
Event managers have to make plans to provide successful event managements for the other companies to exhibit their facilities and products before their probable clients.
Rubaiyat said, “It is not so easy to run an event management company as it needed hard labour, wisdom, and capability of taking quick decisions during the functions.”
He said advertisement about the event is very much important to make the audience know about the functions. Rubaiyat said, many of the youths now prefer event management as their future carrier as it has vast opportunities in this changing era of the corporate world.
