A Bangladeshi man was shot dead by miscreants in Busabelo, a province in South Africa, on Monday.
The incident took place in front of his business establishment at around 8pm (Bangladesh time).
The deceased has been identified as Reagan Islam, 35, son of Tajul Islam Noakhali’s Batiya union.

The attackers fired a total of six shots, with three bullets striking his head and the rest in different parts of his body.
Fahim Mahmud, the younger brother of the deceased, said: “Being the eldest son of the family, he migrated to South Africa about 15 years ago in search of livelihood. He started his own business there.
“On Monday night, as he arrived in front of the shop with the goods in his car, the miscreants who were already present opened fire as soon as he stepped out of the vehicle,” he added.

Another family member of the deceased, Shipon, said: “Reagan had several relatives, including uncles and cousins, residing in Africa.”
Meanwhile, the grieving parents are devastated by the loss of their sole breadwinner.
Reagan’s wife is overwhelmed with shock and sorrow after the death of her husband, just a few years into their marriage. The family members have appealed to the government for assistance in bringing back Regan’s body.
