Arshad Hosein, the younger son of the late Barrister Mainul Hosein, has been made the publisher of the leading media outlet The New Nation following the sudden death of his father.

Barrister Mainul Hosein, an iconic figure in both legal and media circles, passed away on December 9, leaving behind a legacy of journalistic excellence and a commitment to democracy.

Meanwhile, the Chairperson of the New Nation Saju Hosein made Arshad Hosein the new Publisher of the daily.

Previously Arshad Hosein played a pivotal role in the Daily Ittefaq as Managing Editor and Editor of the Fortnightly magazine ‘Binodon.’

Being education abroad, he is currently acting as the Managing Editor of The New Nation.

However, the changing of the name of the Publisher is under due process.
