An auto-rickshaw driver was awarded three days of imprisonment by a mobile court on Friday morning.
Executive Magistrate of Rangamati District Administration office Obaidur Rahman awarded three days imprisonment to an auto-rickshaw driver Md. Nasir over assisting in fish smuggling during the ongoing ban period at Kaptai Lake.
Source of Bangladesh Fisheries Development Corporation (BFDC) said that a patrol team chased a gang of smugglers while they were smuggling fish at Asambasti Bridge area and arrested the auto-rickshaw driver Nasir with fish following which he was sentenced by a mobile court.
