The Plant Pathology Division of Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute (BARI) has arranged an workshop on ‘Survey and Integrated Management of Wilt and Stem Blight Diseases of Watermelon’ at the BARI Seminar Room today (07 December 2023).
The workshop funded by Krishi Goveshona Foundation (KGF). Chief scientific officer, senior scientists, Officer of various Divisions participated in this workshop. BARI Director General Dr. Debasish Sarker inaugurated the workshop as chief guest. The project report was presented at the workshop by Ex-PI and PSO (Crop), BARC, Dr. Md. Mahfuz Alam. Director (Support & Services) Dr. Ferdouse Islam, Director (Planning & Evaluation) Dr. Dilwar Ahmed Choudhury, Director (Training and Communication) Dr. Md.Tariqul Islam were present as special guest. Executive Director, KGF, Dr. Nathu Ram Sarker was present as guest of honor in this workshop. Principal Scientific Officer (Plant Pathology Division) of BARI Dr. Md. Iqbal Faruk gave the welcome address. Finally, the Chief Scientific Officer (Plant Pathology Division) Dr. Md. Matiar Rahman gave vote of thanks to the guests.
