The President of Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) Nazmul Hassan Papon gave bonus to the players of Bangladesh Under-19 Cricket team on Wednesday.
Bangladesh Under-19 Cricket team clinched the title of the Under-19 Asia Cup Cricket at the United Arab Emirates recently. The players of the team was awarded Taka one lakh each , while the coaching staff got Taka fifty thousand each.
It may be mentioned that the ICC Under-19 World Cup will be held in South Africa from January 19.
Bangladesh have been billed in the Group-A with India, United States of America and Ireland.
Bangladesh will start their World Cup campaign against India. The match will be held on January 20.
Earlier, the BCB announced the Bangladesh Under-19 Cricket team for the upcoming ICC Under-19 World Cup. Mahfuzur Rahman Rabby will lead the Bangladesh Under-19 Cricket team for the ensuing ICC Under-19 World Cup.
Bangladesh Under-19 Cricket squad: Mahfuzur Rahman Rabby (Captain), Ashiqur Rahaman Shibli, Jishan Alam, Chowdhury Md Rizwan, Adil Bin Siddik, Mohammad Ashrafuzzaman Boranno, Ariful Islam, Shihab James, Ahrar Amin (Vice-Captain), Sheikh Parvez Jibon, Rafi Uzzaman Rafi, Rohanat Doullah Borson, Iqbal Hasan Emon, Wasi Siddiquee and Maruf Mridha.
The stand-bys are: Nayeem Ahmed, Rizan Hossan, Ashraful Hasan, Tanvir Ahammed andAkanto Sheikh.
