Information and Broadcasting Minister and Awami League (AL) Joint General Secretary Dr Hasan Mahmud on Saturday said BNP is destroying public properties, carrying out arson attacks on public transports and killing people in the name of boycotting poll.
“On the other hand, the Awami League government is carrying out development activities across the country and constructing roads, bridges, culverts and rail lines. And the government is also distributing books to the students free of cost,” he said, reports BSS.
The ruling party leader said this while addressing streets rallies at different areas including Goalpura Bazar, Kodala Bazar, Tea Garden of Kodala Union of Ranguniya upazila of the district.
Later, he campaigned at Sarafbhata in Ranguniya upazila and Sripur-Kharandiwp union of Boalkhali upazila.
