The winners of Birangan Sakhina (B.S) Silver Pen Awards-2022 were announced to be awarded to the different fields including journalism; research, science and technology; arts, education, language, literature, and social service in greater districts ( Dhaka, Mymensingh, Sylhet) areas in every two years.
The Editor of the Magazine’Pen Award Affairs, and Returning Officer of the electoral voting systems Azam Zahiul Islam announced the names of the winners of Birangan Sakhina (B.S) Silver Pen Awards-2022 in conference room of Gouripur upazila Agriculture Office in Mymensingh district on 24 June 2023 Monday afternoon.
The President of this electoral committee Md. Fazar Ali, Head Teacher (Retd) of Gouripur R.K Govt, High School presided over the Declaration Ceremony of 10 winners.
The winners are eminent poet Nirmalendu Gun, who got Ekushey Padak and Sadinata Award. eminent writer Professor Jatin Sarkar, a progressive thinker who got Sadinata Award in the field of arts, education, language; Actress Rozina, popular actress of Bengal, won the National Film Award.
MA Malek, eminent social worker, philanthropist and educationist in the field of social service; Dr. Md. Mehdi Masud, Project Director, Directorate of Agricultural Extension, Dhaka in the field of research, science and technology; Jiban Islam, Writer and Senior Economic Reporter, The Daily Observer, Janata and Bhorer Kagoj; Hemayet Hossain, an editor (The Country Today), Journalist Farid Khan, founder and central President of Bangladesh Press Club, Md. Babul Hossain, Staff Reporter of Dainik Jankantha of Ekatar Television and also and former General Secretary of Mymensingh Press Club.

The General Secretary of this electoral committee Raihan Uddin Sarker said, ‘Birangan Sakhina (B.S) Silver Pen Awards and certificates-2020 and 2022’ will be distributed in a pen award giving ceremony in Mymensingh district town in the month of October/2023. The declaration ceremony were also held attended by the Vice-President of the electoral committee Engr.Mohammad Ali Zinnah, former Superintendent ( Retd.) of Government Textile Vocational Institute, Upazila Vice President (women) Salma Akter Robi, Journalist Zahirul Huda Liton, Ramjan Ali Mukti and many others.
