Dr Israfeel Shaheen at Performing Art Festival of 30 countries in 5 continents

The 1st International Performing Art Festival in Phan Thiet City, Binh Thuan Province in Vietnam with the theme ‘Connecting Creativity’ is going to held from December 8 to 10, said a press release.

On behalf of the Organising Committee of the Vietnam International performing Arts Festival, Dr Israfeel Shaheen is invited to attend at the festival as one of the key note speakers from Bangladesh with the theme titled ‘How can contemporary performing arts heal the world of wars, poverty and cultural distance.’

Today (December 6), he will travel to Vietnam to attend the festival.


This time the festival is organised with a focus on the indigenous communities and the locals, as well as domestic and international tourists visiting Phan Thiet city, Binh Thuan province.

This Festival is held within the framework of Vietnam’s National Tourism Year programme, which is a cooperation and an alliance between the People’s Committee of Binh Thuan province and the International Theater Institute – ITI UNESCO, International Festival Forum Committee – FACT – ITI and Smart Group International Media Company.

There will be delegates and artists of many types of performing arts from more than 30 countries across five continents attending the festival, including Switzerland, Cuba, Colombia, USA, France, Belgium, Germany, Romania, Bangladesh, Korea, Philippines, India, Mongolia, Jordan, China, Cyprus, New Zealand, Ghana, Chad, Netherlands, Ukraine, Ivory Coast, Mexico, Belarus, Brazil, South Africa, Argentina, Uzbekistan and artistes and actors from the North, Central and South of Vietnam.
