A delegation of Foreign Investors’ Chamber of Commerce & Industry (Ficci) led by its president Zaved Akhtar paid a courtesy call on chairman of National Board of Revenue (NBR) and Senior Secretary of Internal Resource Division (IRD) Abu Hena Md Rahmatul Muneem at NBR on Tuesday.
During the meeting, Ficci’s newly elected board of directors (2024-25) congratulated the NBR chairman for extension of his tenure for another two years.
The Ficci president also handed over chamber’s last research report “Catalyzing Greater FDI for Vision 2041: Priorities for building a conducive Tax System in Bangladesh” to the NBR chairman.
They discussed about different issues related to country’s investment climate, and overall economy in the meeting.
The Ficci board expressed their willingness to work together with NBR for the development of the country.
