Five more men’s and women’s section matches of the Victory Day (V-Day) Handball competition were decided on Tuesday at Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium in the city.
In the men’s section matches, Bangladesh Ansar and VDP beat Team Handball Dhaka by 52-18 goals after leading the first half by 28-7 goals and Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) defeated Bangladesh Police Handball Club by 45-26 goals after dominating the first half by 16-9 goals ,while Bangladesh Ansar and VDP outclassed Ideal Handball Garden, Chapainawabgaj by 40-14 goals after dominating the first half by 20-05 goals.
In the women’s section, Bangladesh Ansar and VDP defeated Badalgachi Handball Association by 52-12 goals after leading the first half by 23-7 goals, while THT Lion, Jamalpur defeated Handball Training Center, Dhaka 43-29 goals after dominating the first half by 22-11 goals.
