Graduation Ceremony held at Manarat College

In a festive and jubilant atmosphere, the Graduation Ceremony 2024 of Manarat Dhaka International School and College (MDIC) is held at the MDIC campus. Professor Dr. Mohammad Ismail, a remarkable educationist and professor of Applied Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, at the University of Dhaka, delivers his speech as the chief guest of the ceremony, which is chaired by Brig Gen (Retd.) Mehdi Hassan Pramanik, psc, principal of the college.
As the chief guest of the ceremony, Professor Mohammad Ismail congratulated the students on their obtaining bright results. He urges the graduates to be the flagbearers of humanity. He encourages the students to lead the country towards positive changes using their creativity and innovation, which can help them, be the front runners in the 4th industrial revolution.
Regarding study, he insists that there be no alternative to acquiring knowledge if anybody wants to be qualified. Building characters should be given the topmost priority. Everyone needs to be instilled with family values and practice Islam comprehensively. He also advised the students to work for humanity. They must not be extremists on any given views and keep themselves aloof from drugs.
Among the other dignified guests, Professor Dr. Mojammel Haque, Convener of Academic Committee and Member, Manarat, and Mr. Shah Alam Bakhshi, Secretary of Manarat Trust along with the vice principals of MDIC, Prof Md Habibur Rahman Akand and Tahmeena Yeasmin were also present in the ceremony.
Crests and credentials were awarded among the highest achievers of the college. Nashita Zaman was awarded for her country’s highest marks in Biology in A levels. Adeena Hasan, Alima Hoque Bhuiyan and M S Sidratul Moontaha Anannya have received awards for their country’s highest marks in English Language, Psychology and Islamic Studies respectively. In O-level Mathematics, Kayes Muhtasim and Khalid Mahmud have secured the world’s highest marks. Besides, Sadman Jamal Siddiqee has obtained the country’s highest in Bangla in the O Level Exam. Best learners’ awards are also given to them. Moreover, certificates were awarded for passing O level and A levels.

Attractive cultural events pleased the spectators. The students of MDIC sang songs and recited poetry which provided enormous joy to the audience.
