The police have recovered a hanging body of a businessman from a house in Bakshibazar of the capital.
The deceased Babul Shah (55), son of late Kishore Mohan Saha lived in Joynal Road area of Bakshibazar.
The deceased’s brother-in-law Sanjay Kumar Saha said, “Babul Shah, did business in Chawkbazar.
Many people borrowed money from him but did not return it. It is initially seemed that he committed suicide due to this anxiety.”
Inspector Bachchu Mia, in-charge of Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) police outpost confirmed the matter to the media.
“The body has been kept at DMCH morgue for autopsy. The matter has been informed to the concerned police station,” the Inspector said.
