Jatiya Party (JaPa) Chairman GM Quader said his party will come to power if people cast their votes fearlessly.
“Awami League candidates are contesting the upcoming election under various symbols.
They are harassing JaPa candidates, but we are not afraid.
If they harass us, we will give a strong response,” he said at a meeting in Rangpur on Monday, reports UNB.
GM Quader said: “People are not at peace in the country today.
They were peaceful under JaPa’s rule.
To restore that peace, change is necessary, and the party must return to power.”
At the meeting, Quader introduced Anisur Rahman Anis, JaPa candidate for Rangpur-5 constituency, and sought votes for him.
