A mobile court in Kishoreganj on Thursday evening fined two Independent candidates of Kishoreganj-3 (Tarail- Karimganj) constituency Tk 10,000 for violating the electoral code of conduct.The Executive Magistrate, also Assistant Commissioner (Land) in Tarail upazila of Kishoreganj, Mashtura Amina conducted the mobile court and imposed the fine.
According to District Election Office of Kishoreganj, the independent candidate of Kishoreganj-3 (Karimganj-Tarail) Constituency Major (Retd) Nasimul Haquue (Scissor Symbol) for violating Section 18 of the Code of Conduct of Candidates, Section 13 of the Election Code of Conduct 2008 and another independent candidate Barrister Golam Kabir Bhuiyan (Kettle symbol) were fined Tk. 5,000.
