The District Development Coordination Committee meeting was held on Sunday in the meeting room of the Deputy Commissioner. In the meeting held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Ullah, the officials of various government departments of the district highlighted the progress of their respective departments.
In the meeting, various decisions were taken after reviewing the progress of the various departments of the district.
Mayor Rezaul Karim Swapan said that cleaning activities are going on in coordination with the hospital authority and the adjacent road municipal authority to keep the Sadar hospital premises clean. He also said that the efforts to finish all the development work quickly are continuing. Moreover, the restoration work of damaged and dying ponds is going on.
Municipal Mayor Rezaul Karim Swapan, Additional Superintendent of Police Mohammad Atiqul Haque, Additional District Magistrate Mahbubur Rahman and officials of various departments were present in the coordination meeting.
At the end of the meeting, the principal of Lalmonirhat Government College Prof. Md Yusuf Ali was given a farewell reception on behalf of the district administration due to retirement.
