Bangladesh Meteorological Depart-ment (BMD) on Friday predicted that rain may occur at many parts of the country in the next 24 hours commencing at 9 am yesterday.
“Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at a few places over Rajshahi, Rangpur and Khulna divisions and at one or two places over Mymensingh, Sylhet, Dhaka, Barishal and Chattogram divisions with moderately heavy falls at some places over the country,” said a BMD bulletin issued on Friday morning. Day temperature may rise slightly and night temperature may rise 1-2 degree Celsius over the country, the bulletin said.
