Mehazabien in big screen for first time

The 21 February is the International Mother Language Day.

The day is historic for Bangladesh; it is also a special day for popular small screen’s actress Mehazabien Chowdhury because 14 years ago on this day, she made her debut as an actress in a TV drama.

And after 14 years, this actress officially announced her first movie on this day.

Mehazabien’s first movie is ‘Saba’, directed by Maksud Hossain.

While talking in this regard, Mehazabien wrote on Facebook, “February 21 is the International Mother Language Day.

On this day 14 years ago, I would like to share a special news with my well-wishers, friends, as a humble tribute to the language martyrs.

The big screen feature film is going to be my debut this year.”

Mehazabien also wrote, “We started working in this movie at the beginning of 2023.

‘Saba’ means like morning, the gentle breeze of the morning; I hope that the morning of my movie life will be filled with genuine love. The story, the characters, the director’s production, the talented actors, and my opportunity to act with the talented crew of the background – all in all ‘Saba’ will always be a special name in my life.”

Only Mehazabien was seen in the published poster of the movie ‘Saba’.

Rokeya Prachy and Mostafa Monwar also acted in this movie.

Regarding the release of the movie ‘Saba’, its director Maksud Hossain told this correspondent that there is a plan to release this movie at the end of this year.

Mehazabien Chowdhury stepped into showbiz after becoming the champion in the ‘Lux-Channel i Superstar’ competition of 2009.

Her first drama titled ‘Tumi Thako Sindhupare’ was directed by Iftekhar Ahmed Fahmi. This drama was aired in 2010.
