ZEE5 Global, the largest OTT platform for South Asian
content, announced the addition of six star-studded Bangladeshi dramas or short films to its already vast content repository. Popular actors Tawsif Mahbub, Tasnia Farin,
Ziaul Faruk Apurba, Shiba Ali Khan, Irfan Sajjad, Sarika Saba, Ahona Rahman, Mosharraf Karim and Tareen among others acted in different roles in these dramas. The six new dramas or short films will be launched on February 26 under ZEE5 Global’s brand new segment, ‘ZEE Drama Time.’
Piriti Kathaler Atha, meaning love is as strong an adhesive
like that of a jackfruit. Based on the popular baul/folk song, under this theme the platform will feature three films: Rahman Aryan’s Tomar Tane, Mehedi Hassan’s 2521 and Mohon Ahmed’s Biye Shadi. Based on the popular song, the second theme Hrid Majhare Rakhbo translates to ‘will keep you in my heart!’ A collection of intense love stories, this theme will feature the romantic titles Sakhawat Manik’s Chena Mukh Ochena Thikana, Mehedi Hassan’s High Volume and Sohel Hasan’s No Prem No Biye.
