Veteran actor Soumitra Chatterjee may have left the world but his contribution to movies will remain immortal throughout history. A teaser for the actor’s last work, a documentary titled Ami Soumitra, was released recently. Directed by Sayantan Mukhopaday and
produced under the CINEX Entertainment banner, the
docu-feature shades light on the various shades of Soumitra Chatterjee apart from his
brilliant acting.
Here the viewers will get to see Soumitra as a painter, playwright and also a poet. Soumitra’s daughter, Poulami Bose also worked relentlessly on the documentary. As lockdowns were removed from Kolkata, Soumitra Chatterjee was busy shooting and dubbing for his movies which also included the Docu-feature.
