Parliamentary team leaves for Hanoi

A four-member parliamentary delegation led by Chief Whip ASM Firoz left Dhaka early on Monday for Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, to attend a conference.
The delegation will attend the conference titled "HelpAge regional conference and 1st standing committee meeting on acting ageing", an official release said.
Other members of the delegation are Lawmaker Begum Fazilatunnesa, deputy secretary of Parliamentary Secretariat MA Kamal and private secretary to the Chief Whip Mohammad Borad Hossain Chowdhury.
The delegation is expected to return home on September 10.
