Unidentified miscreants have hacked to death a leader of Ramna Swechchhasebak League unit in a lane near the busy Moghbazar intersection in capital Dhaka, police say. The deceased was identified as Mahbubur Rahman Rana, 28, said Ramna Police Station OC Moshiur Rahman. He told bdnews24.com that police rushed to the scene after getting news that Rana was attacked and hacked there around 6:30pm. They found two handmade bombs and a blood-soaked machete there. Doctors declared Rana dead after people who were around at the time of attack rushed him to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital. However, OC Rahman said they were yet to find a motive or people responsible for the murder.
